The Scheduler/Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring all security posts are staffed with properly trained personnel, managing day-to-day scheduling needs, dispatching guards in real time, and responding to last-minute coverage issues. This role is critical in maintaining client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain weekly/monthly guard schedules for multiple client sites.
Dispatch security personnel to assigned locations promptly and accurately.
Monitor attendance, call-outs, and shift confirmations.
Respond to staffing emergencies and adjust schedules in real time.
Maintain clear communication with guards, supervisors, and clients.
Ensure coverage complies with labor laws, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Maintain up-to-date records of guard availability, time-off requests, and incidents.
Collaborate with recruitment and HR for onboarding and scheduling new hires.
Use scheduling and dispatch software effectively (e.g., TrackTik, WhenIWork, or similar).
2+ years of experience in scheduling, dispatching, or coordinating staff (security industry preferred).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
