Job Description

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a crucial role in assisting patients with the payment of their medical bills. This involves contacting customers to discuss payment options, negotiating payment plans, and working in a fast-paced virtual environment to ensure account receivables are effectively collected. To excel in this role, you'll need to be comfortable with technology and quick to learn the technical aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service to patients on behalf of our clients.
Contact patients via phone to collect payments on medical bills.
Communicate with patients clearly, accurately, and professionally.
Review patient accounts and document interactions and feedback.
Negotiate reasonable payment arrangements with customers.
Set up payments via check, electronic transfer, or credit card.
Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Meet or exceed established performance goals.
Work closely with team leads and management to resolve issues and ensure patient satisfaction.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualities:

Strong customer and client focus.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information in a clear and professional manner.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
Basic computer proficiency is required.
Education and Experience:

Prior customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle is a strong plus.
High school diploma or GED required.
One to two years of college education preferred.
